Teacher Information

• Class Type (Regular or Special Science)
• Grade Level
• School Name or ID
• Mobile Number
• DepEd Email Address

Student Information

• Learner Reference Number (LRN)
• First Name
• Middle Name
• Last Name
• Gender
• Age

Academic Records

• Scores per subject
• Quarterly and general averages

Purpose of Data Collection

The personal data collected is used solely for the following purposes:

• To help teachers record and track student performance
• To automatically compute quarterly and general averages
• To reduce manual workload and promote teacher productivity
• To facilitate efficient academic reporting

Note: TAPAT is exclusively for use by public school teachers in the Philippines.

Data Control and Management

• Teachers can add, update, or delete individual records at any time.
• Teachers may delete all their personal and academic records permanently.
• All data is managed and controlled by the teacher who created it.

Data Protection and Security

TAPAT implements appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including:

• Secure HTTPS data transmission
• User authentication and access control
• Data backup and recovery protocols
• Restricted access to authorized personnel only

Rights of Data Subjects

As provided by the Data Privacy Act, users have the right to:

• Access their personal data
• Correct or update inaccurate data
• Withdraw consent and request data deletion
• Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission

Data Sharing and Disclosure

TAPAT does not sell or share personal data with third parties. All user data remains confidential and accessible only to the teacher who owns it.

Child Data Protection

Although TAPAT collects minimal student information, we ensure that:

• Only authorized public school teachers may access student data
• No student accounts are created or used
• All student data is processed solely for academic assessment purposes

Data Hosting and Storage

Data is securely hosted on cloud servers and is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the intended purpose or until voluntarily deleted by the teacher.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified within the platform if significant changes are made.
