Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: June 7, 2025
1. Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TAPAT – Teachers' Assessment Platform and Tracking (“TAPAT”) web application. By registering and accessing the system, you agree to these terms. TAPAT is intended solely for use by public school teachers in the Philippines for the purpose of recording and computing student assessment scores and performance averages.
2. Subscription & Payment
- The use of TAPAT is subject to a yearly subscription fee of ₱150.00 per account.
- Upon account registration, each teacher will automatically receive a 7-days free trial.
- After the trial period, if payment is not made, certain features will be restricted (see Section 3).
3. Trial Access and Limitations
- During the 7-days free trial, teachers have full access to all features, including adding, editing, and managing student grades and scores.
- If payment is not made after the trial ends, the teacher can still log in to TAPAT, but will be restricted from inputting or editing student data.
4. Deactivation and Data Deletion
- If no subscription payment is made within 30 days after the free trial expires, the teacher’s account will be automatically deactivated.
- Upon deactivation, all data associated with the teacher’s account—including student grades, records, and any uploaded information—will be permanently deleted from the system without further notice.
5. Parental Consent Requirement
- Teachers are required to print and distribute the TAPAT_Parental_Consent_Notice to the parents or guardians of all students whose data will be entered into the platform.
- It is the teacher's responsibility to ensure proper consent is obtained prior to entering any student data.
6. Use of the Platform
- TAPAT may only be used for educational and administrative purposes by authorized public school teachers.
- Users must not use the platform to store or distribute any illegal, malicious, or offensive content.
- TAPAT reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any misuse of the platform.
7. Data Privacy and Security
TAPAT follows the requirements of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) to protect the confidentiality of all student and teacher data. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to These Terms
TAPAT reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and it is the user's responsibility to check for updates.
